Fudgy Chocolate Brownies
These brownies are rich, fudgy, and melt-in-your-mouth, with cocoa bloomed in warm butter for deep chocolate flavor. A little flour holds everything together while chopped chocolate makes them extra decadent.

Method
Heat the oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting.
Melt or warm the butter, then whisk in the cocoa powder until smooth and glossy to bloom the cocoa.
230 g Unsalted butter
85 g Unsweetened cocoa powderWhisk in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla until the batter is thick and shiny.
300 g Granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1.5 tsp Vanilla extractFold in the flour and salt just until no dry streaks remain, then fold in the chopped chocolate.
95 g All-purpose flour
0.5 tsp Salt
170 g High-quality chocolateTransfer the batter to the lined pan and spread it evenly into the corners.
Bake until the brownies are just set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs, about 22–25 minutes.
Let cool in the pan before lifting out and cutting into squares.
